What is AppXpress?
AppXpress in the Cloud
AppXpress is GT Nexus' new open development platform that lets developers create applications to enhance and extend the core GT Nexus process and integrate with their existing systems in real time using an application platform and an open data API.
AppXpress helps deliver highly customizable, integrated solutions quickly and reliably, while paving the way for mobile apps on smartphones and tablets. It also allows you to integrate with existing enterprise systems, web sites and virtually any Internet-connected system.
AppXpress Modules and AppXpress API
How to develop on AppXpress?
There are two ways to develop applications with AppXpress: you can create AppXpress Modules to create new apps, documents, workflows, etc. directly on the core GT Nexus platform; or you can create external applications that integrate with the GT Nexus system via the AppXpress API.
The AppXpress API gives developers direct access to GT Nexus data where you want it, when you want it and how you want it. The AppXpress API is a RESTful Web Service that delivers GT Nexus data to mobile devices (like smartphones and tablets), enterprise platforms (such as SAP and Oracle), web sites, and also enbales mashups. The API is fully integrated with AppXpress Modules, so modules can be instantly accessed from other development platforms. Learn more.
